Philippe Guillemot was born on July, 8th 1960 in Ménéac, a small village in Morbihan. As the son of a farmer, he received an education based on the value of work. He is fond of ancient works and especially of copper-ware. He chose the technical school in Josselin to prepare a CAP (Professional Certificate) in boiler-making. He passed the exam in 1977.

Then he worked in Mr Ouvrard's company, the STO, where he progressed and learnt to see a job well done.

Then, he wanted to have his own small workshop at home; so he bought his own tools and spent nights and weekends working on stainless steel. He created a corner heater (which was rare, if not unknown at that time), a beautiful wrought-iron staircase, made for a cottage, and many other works you can discover on this page. His friends admire his work and his wife encourages him to create unique pieces so as to be able to offer remarkable unusual present. His love for noble metals inspired all the creations you are going to discover on this site. Each of them is workable on demand.
